Jeremy and Angela Newton, missionaries to Sub-Saharan Africa, will be sharing in our combined 10:30am morning worship on December 16. Jeremy writes:
“My wife, Angela, and I have been with the IMB since being appointed in 2006. I am a TCK(MK), having grown up in South Korea where my dad was a church planter from 1972-1997. My wife is from West Texas and we met while I was stationed at Goodfellow, AFB. We were married in 1995 and less than a year later we took jobs as teachers at a Christian school in South Korea. Our three boys were all born there.
As IMB missionaries we have served in Africa for almost 12 years. In July of this year we left on medical member care leave to seek better therapy options for our middle won. We’ve been in Shreveport since July. We don’t know what God has in store for us, and are taking things one day at a time. Our son has serious anxiety and behavioural issues that must improve before we return to the field.”
Come be a part of this special service as the Newtons share their testimonies and we have a special time of giving to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.
