Sunday, June 1 through _______
8:15am & 10:30am
Read the note below and then contact the church office to reserve your place in worship. We can’t wait to see you!
Dear Church Family,
What a wonderful day of worship we had this past Sunday. We believe everything went smoothly, but would like to remind everyone to not congregate in the foyer and to arrive at least 20 minutes before either service to help keep the line to get into the service small. We are looking forward to another great service this Sunday.
Sunday School teachers please continue to use zoom meetings, facebook live, or have an outdoor Sunday School lesson on the Recreation Complex. We would like to offer some of our bigger rooms to some of our Senior Adult Sunday School classes to meet in during the week. You may contact Amy at the church office to request one of these larger rooms, the Recreation Complex, or Prayer Garden for your class. If your Sunday School class is too large to meet safely, we recommend splitting into smaller groups to be safe.
The only doors that will be unlocked are the glass foyer doors by the Bell Tower. We will have ushers at the door to greet you and escort you to your seat. Please do not move to a different seat once you have been seated. We are asking the front half of the sanctuary to exit out the brown doors that go into the Choir Suite Breezeway and the back half of the Sanctuary to exit out the back doors into the foyer. We believe this is the safest and quickest way to get everyone out of the Sanctuary.
The Well will be used as an Overflow if we exceed the number that is allowed in the Sanctuary. The service will be simulcast on the TVs. This might be a good place for families with small children because it gives them a little more wiggle room.
We will have two locked drop boxes for tithes and offerings on Sunday. One will be in the foyer as you come in the church and the other will be stationed in the Choir Suite Breezeway as people are exiting the service. You may continue to give online too if you choose.
We want to keep our church opening as successful as possible, but also as safe as possible. We have a group of bondservants that are helping to keep our church clean. The Sensational Sanitizers wipe down doorknobs, church pews, bathrooms, etc. after each service. We are so grateful for all the hard work they did last Sunday. If you would like to volunteer to be a Sensational Sanitizer, please contact Peyton Shephard.
Please be respectful of others and keep in mind that not everyone will be ready to hug, shake hands, or have other physical contact.
Anyone who is sick or considered “vulnerable” to COVID-19 should NOT attend services in person. Both worship services will continue to be provided via our website, Facebook and Roku.
